Are we closed? Do you feel like you need a doctor or a counselor for urgent situations?

Feeling physically or emotionally unwell doesn’t always coincide with standardized office hours. That’s why the Engemann Student Health Center is here to guide you in obtaining after-hours care when you really aren’t feeling well or are experiencing a crisis (e.g. traumatic event, thoughts of harming themselves or others).

Here are some things you can do:

Call the After-Hours Advice Nurse for Medical and Counseling Needs: 213-740-9355

You’ll be prompted to follow recorded instructions (press 1 for medical and 2 for counseling) to make sure your needs are addressed. A nurse will assist you with any medical concerns and/or can connect you with an on-call counselor, if necessary.

Use Self Care Resources

Engemann Student Health Center is committed to patient-centered care which involves having a patient play a more active role in their physical and behavioral health.
