Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs

At the Office for Wellness and Health Promotion, we collaborate with other departments to support you, your health, and the health of the University Park campus. Here is a list of our services as well as on-campus and off-campus resources to assist you with questions or concerns about Alcohol and Other Drugs:

  • The Resource Room has a number of books and pamphlets regarding alcohol, tobacco and other drug use. In addition, Peer Health Educators and professional staff members are available to answer your questions.
  • AlcoholEdu is an online science-based alcohol prevention program that provides a tailored educational experience focusing on the impact of alcohol on the mind and body.
  • BASICS (Brief Alcohol Screening and Intervention for College Students) is offered to all USC students who want to explore their alcohol use in a confidential and judgment-free environment.
  • A drug education consultation is a one-on-one appointment for those referred and/or sanctioned through Student Judicial Affairs and Community Standards, Residential Education, Fraternity and Sorority Leadership Development or Athletics. For a consultation, come in to fill out an assessment and schedule your appointment. We do not offer same day appointments.
