Insurance for USC Academic Center, Satelite Campus Students
The deadline to enroll or waive the USC Student Health Insurance Plan for the Fall semester has passed.
It is a USC requirement that all students have a comprehensive health insurance plan. The USC Student Health Insurance Plan is designed for study at the academic centers and will help to cover the cost of care you need, particularly in an emergency situation where hospitalization may be required. The charge for Fall 2013 is $1,006 and Spring/Summer 2014 is $1,584. This will appear on your fee bill each semester as “Student Health Ins”. These charges will be automatically assessed to your account upon meeting one of the following criteria:
- You are an international student studying at USC carrying any number of units (or)
- You are a Health Science student studying at USC carrying any number of units (or)
- You are a domestic student carrying 6 or more units at USC.
