Shelters provide temporary, emergency housing for people without funding or other placement. Some shelters offer limited case management and other services. Most expect clients to leave for the majority of the day.

Transitional Living treatment Programs
These inpatient programs offer a wide range of services. Generally, stays last between six months to two years. The amount of structure—groups, etc.—varies from program to program.
