Acute Care Clinic
During Business Hours
For immediate (non-life threatening) medical concerns, students can come into the Acute Care Clinic which is located on the first floor of the health center. Each patient will be evaluated and seen based on their medical condition and urgency. We encourage you to make an online appointment at usc.edu/myshr for the Acute Care Clinic.
Engemann Student Health Center is here to guide you in obtaining after hours care when you aren’t feeling well or are experiencing a crisis (e.g. traumatic event, thoughts of harming themselves or others).
Call the After Hours advice nurse for Medical and Counseling Needs: (213) 740-9355
You’ll be prompted to follow recorded instructions (press 1 for medical and 2 for counseling) to make sure your needs are addressed. A nurse will assist you with any medical concerns and/or can connect you with an on-call counselor, if necessary.
Relationship and Sexual Violence Prevention and Services (RSVP)
RSVP provides immediate therapy services for situations related to gender and power-based harm (e.g., sexual assault, domestic violence, stalking). In case of an emergency or if you need immediate assistance, please call (213) 740-4900 (after hours, press “1” to speak to an on-call counselor).
