Paula Swinford, M.S, M.H.A, C.H.E.S.

Paula is a Certified Health Education Specialist. She received her B.S. in Biology and her M.S. in Community Health from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She also received her Masters of Health Administration from USC. Paula is a past president of the American College Health Association (ACHA) and current chair of the NASPA Health in Higher Education Knowledge Community.

Diane Medsker, B.A.

Diane was previously the Director of School and Parent Programs at Planned Parenthood Los Angeles, where she worked for twelve years. During that time, Diane developed the Adult Education and Professional Training Program, and served as head trainer to agencies, schools, volunteers and staff. She has an extensive background in theater and has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toledo.

Amanda Vanni, M.P.H., C.H.E.S., 200 Hour RYT

Amanda earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention from the University of Southern California. She then attended the Keck School of Medicine of USC where she completed a Masters of Public Health with an emphasis in Biostatistics and Epidemiology. For the next three years, she worked as a Project Manager for a variety of nutrition and physical activity research projects at the USC Childhood Obesity Research Center and the USC Clinical Trials Unit. Amanda is passionate about building community within USC, working with students to incorporate movement into their daily activities and creating a healthy USC experience. She is a Certified Health Education Specialist and a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) through the SmartFlow Teacher Training with Annie Carpenter.

Chris Oliver Tacto, M.S.W., M.P.H.

Chris “Oliver” has received his Associate of Arts degree in Pre-nursing from Fullerton College and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development from California State University, San Marcos. Oliver holds both Masters of Social Work and Masters of Public Health degrees from the University of Southern California where he was recognized with the Order of Arête, USC’s highest honor, accorded to graduate students for significant impact and commitment in leadership and service to the university and local communities. While working at the USC Annenberg School for Communication, Oliver has contributed to research in HIV prevention by developing effective strategies to recruit and retain men who have sex with men (MSM) target participants for national internet-based studies. He has also successfully conducted recruitment and retention research and program evaluation reports for the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.
